I've got a minecraft server running at mc-create.oli.fm. It's modded, running the Create mod, as well as numerous Create extensions. You can even visit that link in a browse to check out the world.
If you're familiar with modding minecraft, you can download the mods by following the link below, otherwise, please keep reading to get up to speed with how to install these mods and get playing.
I've got a whitelist on the server, so you will have to provide me with some details in the form below, so I can get you on. Presumably if you're reading this you've gotten it through some chatroom I'm also a part of, I expect to be able to verify the source of requests, otherwise they will be ignored.
Game settings and rules:
We're running Forge, version 1.20.1.
I may update the server to newer versions of the game, but only if all mods are compatible and if I can be bothered to.
This server was originally set up for myself and my housemate to play together. He really sucks at minecraft so we came up with some somewhat unusual game rules that have been imposed in the settings. Instant Respawn is Enabled. Keep Inventory is Enabled. Health Regeneration is Disabled.
How to install mods:
If you're not familiar with modding the game, using Prism is your best bet. Prism is a minecraft launcher that makes it easier to install mods. You can download it with the link below:
Once you've installed it and have signed in, you'll be able to create add a new instance by clicking the "Add Instance" button at the top right of the window. Create the instance for Version 1.20.1, and make sure that "Forge" is selected in the Mod Loader settings. The latest version of forge is probably ideal. Click OK.
Once the instance is created, right click it to open the context menu, and select Edit. A new console window will open with the Mods tab on the left of the screen. Once you've clicked into the Mods tab, visit the bottom left of the console window, and click the View Folder button. A folder window will open.
Extract the contents of the mods Zip file you downloaded with the link above, into this newly opened folder.
That's it! You can return to Prism, and launch the game.
